Diva Challenge #177: "Truffle by Caroline Broady, CZT

Had another guest poster for this week's challenge. It is by the youngest CZT, Caroline Broady. It is basically a UMT challenge. Her tangle is Truffle.  Do not know that I had seen this one before. I know that I did not use it before. Was a little unsure what to do with it. So when in doubt back to the basics and do not over think it. Put Truffle in first and then just let it develop from there. Here is what I came up with. I hope you enjoy it.

Tangles used: Truffle, Diva Dance, Y-ful power, Flux, Fescu, and Zinger

Now it is off to look at what others have posted on I am the Diva. Would encourage you to do likewise.

Thanks for visiting. As always, comments are welcomed, encouraged, and appreciated.

Go Tangle !!

  1. This is really beautiful, Donald. I like the way this developed, isn't that the best way to tangle?

  2. "Back to the basics" - right. How can you go wrong? You did not - your tile is beautiful. And just letting things go from wherever is usually also the most pleasurable process in my opinion.

  3. Back to the basic is a great approach to do tiles. And so did you. Truffle looks like dandelion flowers floating in the air, peaceful over a diva dance river besides an y-ful field next to the flux bush. Wow great nature feel in this piece of Art.

  4. I like how you chose to vary Truffle. Your other tangle choices add wonderful texture to the tile and your shading adds depth to the whole. Letting the process develop your tile has worked its magic again with beautiful results. Thanks for sharing.
