My sister was and told me about it. You use a black tile. You use either a black ball point pen or an embossing tool and draw your tangles. They then used wax based color pencils to layer color over the entire tile. You pick the colors that you want to use. It is suppose to be a light stroke and you layer the colors. I was told that you can color over your tangle lines because the embossing will keep the color out. I have some Inktense pencils that I may try this with. They are not wax based but they are a softer lead than the ones that I used. If I find out more I will let you know.Tangles and Morehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06572229610003108341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-890635368370889578.post-36234573882953032802014-05-24T15:50:54.171-04:002014-05-24T15:50:54.171-04:00Not sure about all the techniques you mentioned bu...Not sure about all the techniques you mentioned but this finished tile has a wonderful depth and seems to have a velvety finish. I've always been a sucker for the better quality stuff since I started making art 40 years ago, and I do believe that quality will always win with me...but I'm not opposed to experimenting either...<br />CharKathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16448125085338998164noreply@blogger.com
