Tangles used: Drupe, 'Nzeppel, Paradox, and Whee.
'Nzeppel and Paradox are two tangles that I use frequently. The only change I made is that I usually do Paradox so that the fan shape is predominant. I chose to not do this and go for the twisted bar. Not sure what I think about it. Drupe is a neat tangle but not one I think of often. Whee could be looked at as a variation of Echoism. It is one that I came up with before I even knew what Echoism was. There are really a lot of different ways to finish this off. If you are really curious can see the step out on the My Tangles page of my blog.
If you have not done so, would encourage you to go to I Am the Diva to look at what others have done. I did look at some before I did the last section of my tile. I all ready had decided what I was going to do, so was not influenced by what I saw. Is a little harder with this one, unless someone had the same initials. So far that has not been the case.
Thanks for visiting. As always, comments are welcomed, encouraged, and appreciated.
Go Tangle !!
I do lie Paradox this way, Donald. Your shading is very well done.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I thought was 'wow', I love that tangle in the top right - Whee!!! I will be using that one, Donald so thanks for sharing. Great tangles here. Axxx
ReplyDeleteI really like your tile! The patterns look so "homey"... I think it's because it reminds me of two whimsical patterned pillows and a lacy coverlet that would look lovely
ReplyDeletein a cabin or small house with white picket fence and flower beds. =D
Great Donald, with drupe in the corner it reminds me of a flag. Groovy.
ReplyDeleteGreat tile and I like your choice of tangles. I have never seen Whee before.
ReplyDeleteAs I posted, it was one I came up with back when I first started tangling. I was playing, seeing what I could come up with. I have used it a few times but not a lot. It is hard to get the parts symmetrical.
DeleteYep! I totally agree with Chrissie. And I love the draped effect, very well done.
ReplyDeleteLove the Drupe, and off to look whee! Nice work Donald!
ReplyDeleteVery nice tile. I also like Whee and think it would look great used non-symmetrically as a wandering line.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! and I like when you name the tangles!
ReplyDeleteI too really like Whee and also the way that you've shaded it. Looked up your step-out and think I'll be using this one soon :) Linda x
ReplyDeleteI like Whee too. Are the steps posted someplace? Your tile is cool. It reminded me of a flag too:)
ReplyDeleteThe step out is on the "My Tangles" page on my blog.
DeleteI t took me a minute to find your initials, but I believe I found them! Beautiful tile, Donald! :0) Share Humanity
ReplyDeleteVery nice tile and great shading! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like your beautiful initials tile! Paradox is great. I like your tangle "Whee", too!
ReplyDeleteI really like your tile. It reminds me of a flag for some reason with Drupe up in the corner.
ReplyDeleteNice tile, Donald. It took me a while, also, to find your initials, but I did find them. Nice selection of tangles, too. I'm going to have to try "Whee".
