I finished with the tile and looked at it after I shaded it. It looked okay but I felt that there was something missing. Was not sure what but I thought about adding color. Since I was not sure how it would turn out, I decided to take a picture so I would have something to post it I did not like it. I decided to post them both. I will let you decide. I am comfortable with both of them. I hope you enjoy them.
The shading did help this one.
Next is the one with color. This was done with generic colored pencils. For the quality of the pencils, was pleased with the way that they turned out.
I thought the purple and yellow looked good together.
If you have not all ready done so would encourage you to go to I am the Diva and look at the things that others have done. I only looked at a few, but the ones that I saw where great.
Thanks for visiting. As always comments are welcomed, encouraged and appreciated.
Go Tangle!!
Yep, I was right there with you... I did not think that they played together either. Both are lovely, but I do gravitate to the color. :)
ReplyDeleteBoth are wonderful! Very interesting variation of Fengle on the right. I can´t decide for a favorite!
ReplyDeleteI like the fengle on the right, i tried a few times to do one similar but i need much more practice. Your Qunadry must have taken some patience, the outcome is great. I've not tried adding colour as i'm not sure what to use as a beginner. Jenna Wheatman
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of purple & yellow together! Your tile turned out quite lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny, I was just leaving you a note on your blog when you left me a not on mine. Crazy! It is fun how many variations we can get with the same tangles. Always love to see color added! NancyD
ReplyDeleteYou have some light and airy Fengles with really neat Quandary. Nice outcome.
ReplyDeleteNice intricate Fengle Donald, and you did a really good job with Quandry which I find quite difficult. I like your embellishments in Quandry. The color is pretty, but I prefer the black/white tile.
ReplyDeleteI love your big Fengle at the right side. Both, B&W and colored, are great. I cannot say which one I prefer.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love both of them. Great flow.
ReplyDeleteI love both of yours, Donald. Can't decide on a favorite. If you go back to mine, I've fixed the one that wasn't working.
ReplyDeleteYour Quandry is beautiful and the Fengles fit right in with your design.
ReplyDeleteI think it's so neat to see the two versions! So nicely done! I really like the different fengles you used.
