This was a fun template to work with. I think it was for a couple of reasons. One, there were a lot of possibilities. Second, I returned to the basic Zentangle® method of using tangles and not planning. It again reinforced how the process works. I started out with one tangle and just decided what I would do next. As I was working on it, I had mixed reactions to the results. When I was done, I liked the way that it looked. Here is what I ended up with. I hope you like it. I also want to take the time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.
Tangles used: Daggerly, Betweed, Flux, Zinger, Paradox, Flora (variation)
I am guessing that due to the holidays, not as many people will be on line and looking at the things submitted by others. If you have the time, take a few minutes to go to
The Bright Owl and look at the neat things others have done.
Thanks for visiting. As always, comments are welcome, encouraged, and appreciated.
Go Tangle !! and Merry Christmas
Oh I like it very much, Donald. The centre is unusual and really works and there's some great shading on your Betweed. Lovely piece. Axxx
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Donald. I love what happens when you go back to the basics in Zentangle. It worked well for you! I always like Betweed.
ReplyDeleteI like the centre with it's movement and Betweed is great here. Glad that the zentangle way still works. To be honest I always work like that and I think thatá teh best way for me.
ReplyDeleteMerry Chrismas.

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful work Donald- seems perfect for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you!
I really like this one, Donald. Betweed works very well here; and I like the other tangles and patterns you used, too.
