Tangles used: Florz(variation), Puf, and 'Nzeppel
When I was doing this I thought the grid where I did Puf was a little more curvy. Doing the other two curvy was easier. I chose to use tangles that I enjoy using. 'Nzeppel is one of my favorites. Florz is a simple tangle and I enjoy looking for different ways to vary it. Puf is fun to do and is quite a surprise at the end from the way it starts out(thanks Carol Ohl!).

Go Tangle !!
It's a great combination of patterns, Donald. I think you might increase the curvature of puf by making the shaded parts even darker or putting a dark rim round the form.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Donald! I love the Puf as-is; it JUMPS off of the tile. You got the perspective on it just right. This is a favorite! Pinning!
ReplyDeleteNice job Donald!! I like how your very straight grid of fabric is behind your tile. It amplifies the curves of your work!!! Nicely done!!! :0) Share Humanity
ReplyDeleteI really like how your Puf form looks very 3-D! I will have to try Puf in a new tangle.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and elegant with your choice of patterns and curves
ReplyDeleteYou have curved that grid to perfection!
ReplyDeleteReally great effect, Donald. I haven't tried Puf, but will now. Florz and Nzeppel look fantastic here too. Axxx
ReplyDeleteI do love the way you used Nzeppel I tried to use it this week but it just didn't work for me but after seeing what you did I am going to keep trying to use it. Karen
ReplyDeleteI really like how you drew the puf tangle. It reminded me of a pine cone. Love the overall look. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. Since I just started participating, the feedback and critique is great.
ReplyDeleteLove the dimension you've achieved with puf - really makes it look like it is pushing out from the page! Lovely job :)
ReplyDeleteI really love this tile, Donald. Puf practically jumps out of the page. Annette was right when she pointed out how the grid of the fabric behind your tile really shows off the curves in the tile.
ReplyDeleteLovely tile! I like the depth and the variation of Florz!
ReplyDeleteA great challenge tile, for me it looks like a huge pineapple.
ReplyDeleteI really like this one. It is amazing how everyone has a different interpretation.
