I generally have liked doing Zendalas but for some reason this one presented some challenges. I am not sure why. I think part of it was that I really was not sure what tangles to use in the different sections. When this has happened in the past, I still have managed to get a sense of what tangles to use. I think I decided to use color to substitute for this. I did not even do any shading. Maybe if I have time I will attempt another one. For what it is worth, here it is. Hope you enjoy it.
If you have not had a chance would encourage you to go to
The Bright Owl and look at the other Zendalas that people have submitted. As usual there is a great variety.
Thanks for visiting. As always, comments are welcomed, appreciated, and encouraged.
I think your tangles are well chosen and the whole zendala is beautiful. I like the border.
ReplyDeleteI like what you did with the middle and it somewhat has a nautical theme.
ReplyDeleteI really love the border and the color composition of your piece. It is really nice and looks like it was fun to create!

I really like this! Paizel and striping work well together, love your slightly off center Gneiss, but particularly like the zig zag stitching around the edge!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out well! I like the edging and the paisley and the Op Art feel with the stripes!
