This is the 100th Diva Challenge that Laura Harms has posted. I have only been participating in a small number of those, having only begun this year. I hope to participate in many more though. I do appreciate the challenges though because it does make me try new things and new tangles. Hopefully it also makes me more proficient in this art form. In honor of this momentous hallmark, the guest contributors are Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, founders of Zentangle®. A new tangle, the Diva Dance was introduced. The Challenge is to use it in this week's tiles.
Here is my attempt at using this new tangle. Hope you like it.
Tangles used: Diva Dance, Bales, Rain, Indy-rella, and Voxter
Through out the week go to
I am the Diva and check out the different entries in this Challenge. I am sure they will be great as usual.
As always, comments are welcomed and appreciated.
Donald, you made a great tile. Thank you for naming the tangles I often want to try some tangles you use, and because of your naming I can find them and make my tangle experrience bigger, thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I like it when others name their tangles also as there are so many out there it is hard to remember them all.
DeleteGreat composition Donald. You have made a good job of the new tangles.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I did not want to do a monotangle but was a challenge to come up with what else to use. As usual, it usually comes out and put way too much thought into it. Have to remember that the process is the important part.
DeleteLOVE your site, Donald. Really well done. Your zendalas are fantastic! How did you get the little buttons - email, blogger, twitter, fb, and google - below your name on each post?
ReplyDeleteI do not remember doing anything special to have them posted. May be with the particular template that I use.
DeleteLovely, Donald. I find this one such a versatile pattern and you've done a terrific job with it. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I think Bales is becoming one of my favorite tangles. It also is versatile. Will see how things progress with the Diva Dance.
ReplyDeleteA lovely tile, with great tangles next to Diva dance.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I appreciate your taking the time to comment on my work.
DeleteWhat an interesting tile Donald. The combination of patterns that you have used with the Diva Dance really create a nice balance.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane. Always good to hear something from a fellow CZT 10 grad. It amazes me how little planning is necessary with Zentangle. Can see that with the endless examples that people post.
DeleteGreat dance beat to your toe tapping tangling Donald!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the movement your tile brings!
ReplyDeleteGreat tile, as usual. Love how you combined all the tangles.
