I had a lot of things that I was thinking about doing, but decided to keep it simple. Overall I am pleased with the result, a statement I do not make often. Hope you enjoy it.
Tangles used: Fearcles, Knightsbridge, Indy-rella, Birds on a Wire, Hybrid (variation)

I am glad that you took the time to visit, particularly during such a busy time of the year. Here's wishing a very Merry and safe Christmas to you and your family.
Yes, your shading is great in this zendala! I like the sort of psychedelic feeling of it.
ReplyDeleteThank you. This is one time that I was pleased with the shading. That is always the hardest thing for me to do.
DeleteI love your Zendala! It's really beautifully drawn.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I had fun doing this one even though it was a little intense.
DeleteBeautiful work as if i am looking to a escher drawing. I never use so much black in my drawings, always afraid of the busy look it gets. But when I look at your work i have to admit that it is great and has a beautiful effect. I wish you and your beloved ones a Merre, merry Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments. I do get worried about too much black as well. Have been trying to use a little more white space but this seemed to work.
DeleteWauw! Its moving as you look at it. It realy looks like a escher!
ReplyDeleteThanks. If moved a lot more before I did the shading.
DeleteI agree with the escher look. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteIts lovely Donald and I like a bit of darkness with the intense patterns. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI like this, the Knightsbridge gives it an optical illusion feel and it's nice and bold. Great job!
