Tangles used: Auraknot, Paradox, Tripoli, Mooka, Indyrella, Purk, and Tipple.
This may be the last Dare I will participate in for a couple of weeks. Is a Christmas Bazaar scheduled for the first week in December by the local Art Association. Hoping to get somethings done so can have a display and maybe even do some demonstrations. Hoping it will generate some interest for classes.
If you have not been to The Bright Owl click here to see other submissions and also to send a "Get Well" to Erin who is a little under the weather.
Very nice zendala with lots of terrific detail.
ReplyDeleteI like the variety of tangles. Also, the edging is a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteThe edging is Mary Kissel's tangle. Are you going to start doing any of the Dare/Challenges?
DeleteJust linked in my Zendala Dare.
DeleteNicely done - was wondering about the edging really like the looks of it. Looks easy enough to replicate - is it published anywhere?
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know it is not. Mary was a fellow CZT 10 and it was one that she did on her name tag. She was kind enough to give me a simple step out in my journal. Will contact her and see what her plans are.
DeleteReally lovely tangles make a beautiful Zendala - I too love how you finished the piece with a simple yet effective border :))
ReplyDeleteIts very nice Donald, I haven't heard of Indarelli before. Is it one you designed?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if that is the correct spelling of the tangle. I am not sure if there is a step out on zentangle.com. It is one of Molly's and one of the official 102 tangles.
DeleteI checked and I think the correct spelling is now under the picture. It is Indyrella.
DeleteI really like this one. Great detail. Good luck at your Christmas Bazaar.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Am trying to do some new things for the Santa's Giftshop. Posted a few things that have tried so far.
DeleteI like the tangles you have chosen here. Have fun with all your plans.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Right now it is just being busy trying to have a reasonable amount of things to display. Will be busy the next few weeks.
DeleteGreat work, Donald.
ReplyDeleteHope the Christmas Bazaar will help you generate interest.
It's a great way to bring Zentangles to the public!
Thanks. I hope that it works out.
DeleteBeautifully worked- I love the middle and the border around! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. It turned out well.
DeleteWow, I love this - 'specially the amazing center with auraknot and paradox - they fit together so well.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Not sure why, but I thought of these two right away when I saw the template. Was not really sure about it until after I did the shading. I think it helped separate the two.
DeleteBeautifully executed. Love the tangles you chose. Thanks for listing them.
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteOh wow Donald, this is so cool! I love how it turned out. I really love your border too. Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna. Good to hear from you again. Had not seen any postings from you anywhere for a while. Was not sure what was going on. Glad you are back.
