Zendala Dare #35 - Where's My Template

This was an interesting Dare. I definitely like my templates. This has given me an even greater appreciation for the things that Erin does to sustain the Zendala Dare. I definitely was out of my comfort zone trying to make my own template.

Here is what my snowflake looked like

Here is the template that I created from the snowflake. As you can see I did not use all the different parts and I forgot to take a picture before I started tangles. Fortunately I only had completed one.

Here is the finished product. Did not turn out too bad, but I still like my templates!

Tangles used: Auraknot. Finery, Crescent Moon(variation), Scena, and Shing.

If you have not all ready been there, go to The Bright Owl and look at the other submissions. Should be quite a variety since there is not common template.

    1. Thanks. The border is not one that I used before, but it fit nicely.

  2. It is a great zendala. It makes me a little bit dizzy, it pulls me right through the middle. Great tangles and shading to make this effect.

    1. Thanks. I guess the wavy lines does create that effect. Was not thinking of that. Guess it is the middle of a snow storm!

    1. Thanks Dianne. Do not always see those things when you are doing them. I have not forgot about doing the ensemble. Am going to be calling in an order soon so will order when I do.

    1. Thank you. The border fit nicely and is a simple tangle to do. Maybe also it is a contrast to the finer line work on the inside so it frames the whole piece.

  5. This is really nice, I like the way you got six points on your snowflake, just like an original snowflake.

  6. Thank you for. It amazes me how others see different things when look at a zentangle. Was not even looking at the middle as a snowflake but see it after you mention it.
